The legal acts of the Republic of Croatia prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages and other drinks or beverages containing alcohol to minors (persons under the age of 18) as well as the consumption of such drinks and beverages by minors. Dubrovnik FestiWine does not support the drinking by minors, and encourages the responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Guidelines for safe alcohol consumption:

1. Be aware of your limitations and plan ahead.
2. Eat before and during alcohol consumption.
3. Drink slowly.
4. Also, drink water.
5. Select a person in your company who will not consume any alcohol and who will be the designated driver.
6. Respect the rights of those who do not want to drink.
7. Make sure to take a break between consuming two drinks.
8. Do not drink and drive.
9. Do not drink alcohol if you are pregnant.
